What's on during the Spring - In early spring you may still find snow on the peaks of the Tramuntana mountains, but by the end of the season, the temperature is starting to rise. March and April are ideal months for walking and cycling on the island, which is at its prettiest and greenest at this time of year

February - One of the most beautiful natural displays is on show during this month as the almond trees break into blossom. Seemingly overnight the island is covered in a blanket of white and pink blossoms which start the cycle that finishes when the almonds are made into turron to be eaten at Christmas.
March - the Fira del Ram - the big pre-Easter fun fair - makes its appearence on the outskirts of Palma. This is also the month when walkers and cyclists start to arrive on the island in greater numbers, taking advantage of the start of the mild spring weather.
April - Easter is celebrated in the kitchen as generations join together to produce panades (meat pies), cocarrois(vegetable pies) and rubiols (sweet pies), that wil be eaten on Easter Sunday, once Lent is finally over. in common with the mainland, during the week leading up to Easter, it is common to see religious processions in most towns and villages.
