Blue Olive
Blue Olive is a new type of holiday concept named to reflect the two key elements making up this unique break. The “Blue” of the beautiful Mediterranean sea, and the “Olive” of the olive trees lining the countryside of Mallorca . A combined sailing and land based trip these Blue Olive breaks are designed to provide guests with the best of all worlds a relaxing trip along the coast, with a charming hotel in the country side. The breaks are typically 4 or 7 nights in duration (please contact us for other durations) and combine hotel accommodation with a few days of relaxing sailing on your own private skippered yacht
Guests will be collected from Palma airport by their car service and driven to their yacht that will be prepped and waiting for them in their northern Mallorca marina. Welcomed aboard by the skipper, once a safety briefing is conducted, guests will be able to relax and settle into their home for the next few nights.
The yacht will sail with the wind, moor up in pretty bays unreachable by car, and provide comfortable accommodation for your time at sea. The boat will be provisioned with delicious breakfasts and lunches, and dinner will be prepared and waiting on board . All you have to do is heat it. For the evenings when you don't eat on board, the yacht will moor up in a port so you can choose to eat in one of the port side restaurants.
Once you've finished your sailing part of the trip you'll return to port where your hire car will be waiting. Directions will be provided to your hotel which will be home for the rest of your stay. Each property has been specially hand picked for its distinctive style, character and location so really reflecting the rural side of Mallorca.
The joy of this trip is that we arrange all the necessary practical issues of combining a sailing and land based stay, so allowing you to simply relax and enjoy your break. Prices begin at 750 Euros per person for four days sailing and accommodation, and from 1225 Euros per person for seven days. Prices dependent on season and group numbers, minimum four, maximum six.
