Son Palou
If you want to spend your holiday in beautiful surroundings and utter tranquility, in a part of Mallorca which has been largely untouched by tourism, then the beautiful Finca Son Palou, located in the lovely village of Orient must be your ideal destination.
The finca's origins date back to the 14th century, and the owners have lovingly restored the buildings to create a welcoming 14 bedroom hotel of real charm. The rooms are spacious, divided between the main house and casitas dotted around the grounds. The gardens are a beautifully maintained showcase for indigenous Mallorcan species and the estate itself covers over 150 hectares.
The tiny village of Orient, made up of less than 30 houses, and winding cobbled streets, still offers some very good restaurants, including that of the hotel itself.
Room prices range from 117 to 214 Euros per night.
