This luxurious hotel, based in Santa Maria, with views of the wonderful northern mountain range is really a special place. Created by the Read family this is about as individual as a property can be. Restored over a six year period the property bares little resemblance to a hotel and has an ambience more associated with a family mansion house.
From the classic room to the luxurious suites you will find an eclectic selection of artwork, antiques and beauty, whether in the proportions of the great arched bar area to the olive pressing room with all it's original fittings which is now a dining area, the furniture and cabinets of fine porcelain or the wonderful murals, many life size, all contribute to create a blend of fantasy, art and relaxed comfort.
This unique property is superbly complemented by the wonderful food which offers a mix of fine dining tasting menus or more relaxed brasserie style choices. There is even a chef's table where you can sit in the kitchen and enjoy watching your own individual menu being put together, a great experience for any food lover. .
The property also has a full spa with thermal rooms, sensation shower, a wonderful indoor pool jacuzzi and a selection of beauty treatments and massages to rival any spa - its also possible to visit the spa for just a day and make the most of all the facilities.
The gardens are immaculately groomed and the external pool is the perfect location for sitting back and relaxing.
