Moscari and Binibona
Located in the heart of Mallorca, about a fifty minute drive from the airport, at the base of the Tramuntana mountains is the sleepy hamlet of Binibona with its closest village of Moscari just a few miles away. Binibona is a beautiful natural park that is home to a variety of indigenous species of insects, trees and flowers and is great base for anybody who wants to really get away from the hectic pace of modern life.
Beaches around Binibona
Located in the mountains the beaches are a good distance away and take about an hour to reach. If you're staying here you're probably not in Mallorca for the beaches but if you do want to take a trip to the coast Alcudia and Pollensa are the closest bays.

As the centre of a national park the main pastime of people staying here is to walk, trek and explore the beautiful mountains and countryside that are full of olive groves, almond fields and sheep grazing. Cyclists also enjoy the quiet tracks and lanes linking the four villages of Selva, Moscari, Binibona and Caimari. Mountain bikes enjoy the rocky mountain paths. Motorcyclists head for the hills here drawn by the attraction of the challenging mountain roads.

There are a number of Agroturismo, rural hotels in the area. For a romantic child free break head to Can Furios and enjoy their warm hospitality. For peace, quiet and tranquillity its hard to beat Es Castell. For a hipper, younger feel try Can Calco or its sister hotel Can Riera.

Market - Moscari and Binibona are very small and hence we'd advise waiting for the big Inca market on a Thursday for a really good shopping experience.
Fiesta - Moscari celebrates its summer festival in the last week in August when there is dancing in the square and live entertainment most nights.
Golf - The nearest courses are the 9 hole course of Pollensa, and the 18 hole course of Alcanada are the closest courses.
Spa - The hotel Monnaber Nou in nearby Campanet offers treatments throughout the year.
Parking - the best place to park is on the main street in Moscari and Binibona.
