Son Penya
Son Penya offers perfect peace and relaxation, in a tranquil rural setting near the small village of San Lorenzo. But don't expect it to be rustic; this beautifully designed hotel offers all the modern conveniences that you could wish for.
The hotel has 6 double rooms and 6 junior suites, which are spread over various buildings in and around the main reception area. One double and one junior suite are in individual casitas. This does mean that you may find you are not in the same building as the restaurant...but that is no hardship with Son Penya's lovely grounds to cross.
All rooms are generously sized and the majority have an open plan layout that means that the whirlpool bath is divided from the rest of the room by just a curtain. The rooms also have a separate hydromassage shower.
The restaurant specialises in modern Mallorcan cuisine, taking traditional ingredients and using them in innovative recipes: the sobrassada and honey ice cream is just one, delicious example. There is also a large bodega of mainly Spanish and Mallorcan wines.
Room prices range from 196 to 422 Euros per night.
