Son Mas
Son Mas is a rural hotel located in beautiful rolling countryside about 5 km from Porto Cristo. The restored property sits in a huge esate and really is an oasis of calm. The 17th century buildings once formed part of a watch tower to defend against marauding pirates but are now comfortable, light and well appointed rooms for those seeking tranquility in rural Mallorca.
The hotel has 16 spacious rooms, an indoor heated pool which features a swim-jet for the energetic, and a sauna and jacuzzi for those looking to relax. Through out the elegant property there are various lounges to relax in and acres of ground to lose your self in. Breakfast is buffet-style and the served dinner consists of fresh Mediterranean cuisine, prepared mainly with home-grown produce.
The hotel pool is set in well kept gardens and has views of the hills beyond. Whilst deep in the country side the hotel offers close proximity to a number of beaches including Cala Anguila and Cala Mandia, as well as unspoilt coves, such as Cala Varques. This side of the island is also a mecca for golfers and the beautiful greens of Vall d'Or are only 15 minutes away.
