Sa Torre
The beautiful Sa Torre is named after the tower that was once a windmill that stands at the entrance to the estate. The 17th century building has been restored and converted into a stylish and very untypical Hilton property offering the best of everything in the Mallorcan Countryside. The main building was once a jail for war prisoners and you can still see the grafitti they left whilst inprisoned. The building is now far from a prison and houses beautifuly styled communal areas, contemporary rooms all individually decorated and a selection of outside spaces.
There are two pools, one for families with a pool bar and outside massage area, the second a quiet pool for relaxation. The kids club is open from 10am until 5.30pm so parents can enjoy some quiet time, perhaps in the modern spa enjoying a range of treatments, whilst their children are entertained. For the active the facilities offer tennis courts, a professional football pitch and volley ball area. Different events such as sushi evenings, music nights and different activities ensure guests always have something to keep them occupied, alternatively just relax in the beautiful gardens. For the food loving guests there is a brasserie style restaurant and gourmet dining option at Zaranda that holds a Michelin star.
Bedrooms are spacious and light and spread over a number of different buildings. Each room has all amenities including mini-bar, kettle, a/c, safe, iron and of course en-suite bathroom of granite and marble. No two rooms are alike, but they all have comfort and style in common. The hotel also offers two restaurants, and a spa area with a long list of treatments. For the active there is also a well equipped gym area and for footballers there is a professional training field.
This is a stylish, relaxed location just 20 minutes from Palma, yet a million miles from anywhere. The hotel offers a shuttle service for guests down to Es Trenc beach, probably the loveliest on the island.
