Rocamar
The Rocamar is a hotel where you instantly feel at home. The English owner, Tracy and her Mallorcan husband have created the kind of friendly hotel where they will stop up to greet you on your first night, no matter what time you get in, and give you your own door key so you can come and go as you wish. The well stocked honesty bar in the reception area only adds to this feeling. The hotel offers 8 double rooms, 2 twins and an apartment with a small kitchen area that can be reserved on a self-catering basis.
The hotel interior is simple and modern, and the use of space is really well thought out - just check out the large roof terrace with a jacuzzi which has one of the best views in Mallorca.
Once you have visited the unspoilt seaside village of Colonia San Pere you will be torn between telling everyone what a great place it is, and wanting to keep the secret for yourself. All in all, if you want to experience a Mallorca that harks back to the days before mass tourism, then really you could do not better than to stay at this lovely hotel.
