Mision de San Miguel
As a base from which to experience Palma you really couldn't do much better than the Hotel Mision San Miguel. Located right in the city centre, the hotel is in within walking distance of night life, culture, shopping...and if you want to branch out and visit another part of the island the main bus and train stations are also close by.Despite the bustling atmosphere outside, the interior or the hotel, with a definite urban-chic feel, manages to maintain an air of tranquility. The simple decoration in pale, natural colours helps, as does the attitude of the laidback but attentive staff. There are 32 rooms in total, all with views of the old town of Palma.
The hotel also boasts a fine restaurant, the Trebol, where chef Marcos Morey prepares an original and innovative Mediterranean cuisine, using the best ingredients from Mallorca. On weekdays the restaurant also offers a lunch time set menu.
