This is one of the last remaining monastries on the island that is still a working monastery run by the Fathers of the Sacred Heart who teach music and vocal skills to the boys choir Els Blauets. They've been compared to the Vienna Boys choir and do sing wonderfully each day at five in the afternoon in winter, and six in the evening in the summer. With music played each day this is a beautiful mountain retreat first built in the 13th century. Whilst the cells are simple, and you make your own bed, they are clean and have new bathrooms. It's worth spending a night to wake in the complete tranquillity of the mountains.
